artifact#1

This artifact depicts the email that my mentor sent me when I was first starting off in my Senior Project. The email was responding to my request of my mentor to provide advice as to how I could find inspiration as to what to create my children's book about which was a minor setback in the beginning stages of my project. This artifact is important as it shows how my mentor helped to guide me and overcome the minor setbacks that occurred within my Senior Project.

This artifact shows an activity that I completed, as recommended by the Mansfield Public Library, librarian, Mrs. Kitty. I was able to look through different children's books in the beginning stages of my project to grasp an understanding of the concepts/layout I wanted my own book to contain.

artifact#3

This artifact depicts the outline that I made for what I wanted to include in my children's book. I created this outline soon after I completed the activity depicted in Artifact #2, as I had a better understanding of what traditional aspects present in most children's books, I wanted to bring into my own creation.

artifact#5

This artifact depicts the email that my mentor sent me when I completed the first draft of my children's book and was looking for constructive criticism. The comments that my mentor made in this email were particularly helpful because they helped me revise and strengthen my original draft.

artifact#6

This artifact depicts an email that I sent my mentor after I had started running into a roadblock regarding the editing of my children's book. My mentor provided feedback and helped illustrate to me the best way to move forward with my project.
